RULES


Herewith the Rules and Regulations of the Competition:

  • The official name of this competition is ‘GABM Students for Philanthropy Competition’
  • All decisions taken by GABM in this competition will be final and cannot be contested
  • GABM has the exclusive right to terminate this competition at any time, at its discretion
  • GABM has the exclusive right to extend the closing date of this competition
  • A minimum of 100 registered student teams are required to compete in this competition
  • Each respective student team must have between 10 and 20 members
  • All Intellectual Property Rights relating to any information and strategies and marketing material created, designed and/or developed by student teams in this competition will be vested in GABM, and student teams or individual student team members will have no right or title thereto
  • Student teams competing in this competition must at all times conduct themselves within local as well as international laws, with specific reference to any direct or on-line marketing activities
  • GABM will not take responsibility for any action or conduct of student teams or their respective team members during the competition
  • Student teams must only use official or approved GABM promotional or marketing material when engaging in any marketing or other campaign
  • Student teams are not allowed to commit GABM to any contract or agreement with any third parties
  • GABM has the exclusive right to expel, or terminate the participation of any student team or student team member from this competition at any time
  • GABM has the exclusive right to decline any associate membership or advertising application submitted by a student team or individual student team member
  • All GABM associate membership and GABM advertising applications from student teams must be submitted electronically to the GABM Board of Executives at info@gabm-pinc.com
  • GABM is not in terms of this competition required to contribute or fund any aspect of the student teams marketing or any other activity or campaign of whatsoever nature (Each student team is required to fund its own activities in terms of participating in this competition.)
  • GABM will award the first prize of $1-million US Dollar to the student team who has gathered the most points throughout this competition, subject to the first prize winner having gathered a minimum of 500 points
  • GABM will award the second prize of $750 000 US Dollar to the student team who has gathered the second most points throughout this competition, subject to the second place winner having gathered a minimum of 400 points
  • GABM will award the third prize of $500 000 US Dollar to the student team who has gathered the third most points throughout this competition, subject to the third place winner having gathered a minimum of 300 points
  • GABM will award the fourth prize of $250 000 US dollar to the student team who has gathered the fourth most points throughout this competition, subject to the fourth place winner having gathered a minimum of 300 points
  • GABM will award the fifth prize of $125 000 Dollar to the student team who has gathered the fifth most points throughout this competition, subject to the fifth place winner having gathered a minimum of 300 points
  • GABM will at the successful completion of this competition appoint (2) two candidates from each student team to represent GABM in an official capacity in their respective country or state. (Such an appointment of individual student team members will be subject to a standard GABM employment contract.)
  • The competition will officially commence on Wednesday January 30, 2013 and ends on Tuesday April 30, 2013
  • Registration for teams to participate in this competition will commence on Wednesday May 2, 2012 and closes on Tuesday December 4, 2012
